SimplyManage provides comprehensive reporting and analytics to help you understand how time is spent, track project progress, and make data-driven decisions.

Report Types

SimplyManage offers several types of reports:

Time Reports

  • Detailed Time - Individual time entries with full details
  • Summary - Aggregated time by day, week, or month
  • By Project - Time grouped by project
  • By Team Member - Time grouped by person
  • By Client - Time grouped by client

Utilization Reports

  • Team Utilization - Billable vs. non-billable time
  • Capacity Planning - Available vs. used hours
  • Trends - Utilization over time

Project Reports

  • Budget Status - Spent vs. allocated
  • Project Progress - Task completion and time spent
  • Profitability - Revenue vs. costs

Report access depends on your role. Users see their own data, Managers see team data, and Admins see all organization data.

Dashboard Analytics

The main dashboard provides at-a-glance analytics:

  • Hours today/this week - Your tracked time
  • Active projects - Projects you're working on
  • Team activity - Recent team time entries (managers)
  • Pending timesheets - Awaiting approval (managers)

Filtering Reports

All reports support flexible filtering:

Exporting Reports

Export reports in multiple formats:

  • PDF - Formatted reports for printing or sharing
  • CSV - Raw data for spreadsheet analysis
  • Excel - Formatted spreadsheets

Scheduled Reports

Set up automatic report delivery (Admin feature):

  1. Configure the report and filters
  2. Click Schedule Report
  3. Select frequency (daily, weekly, monthly)
  4. Enter recipient email addresses
  5. Save the schedule

Weekly Summaries

Schedule a weekly summary report to keep stakeholders informed without manual effort.

Data Visualizations

Reports include visual charts:

  • Bar charts - Compare values across categories
  • Line charts - Show trends over time
  • Pie charts - Display proportions
  • Tables - Detailed data views
